Chicken Meat Balls in Spaghetti

Chicken Meat Balls in Spaghetti


Ingredients
  • 120g chicken mince
  • ½ grated carrot
  • ½ grated onion
  • 1 egg white
  • Salt and pepper
  • 40g Thin Spaghetti
  • ½ cup Tomato puree
  • ½ onion finely sliced
  • 2 Tablespoons of chopped fresh herbs (parsley, sage, basil)
Method

In a small non stick pan, gently cook onion and herbs until onion is soft. Add tomato puree and heat to a simmer. Simmer for 2 mins.

Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until cooked. Drain.

Combine chicken mince, grated onion, carrot, egg white and salt and pepper, with hands mix all together.

Form into small chicken meat balls.

In a non stick pan cook meat balls until brown and cooked through.

Mix tomato sauce through spaghetti place on plate and top with chicken meat balls.
